Getting around Sydney

The CBD is at the centre of the public transport network. From here it is easy to get around by rail, bus, ferry or road.

Climate

Sydney’s climate is temperate, but June is the beginning of its (relatively mild) winter. Average June temperatures range from a minimum of 9 degrees C (48 deg. F) to a maximum of 17 deg. C (63 deg. F). Mornings are brisk rather than cold, but June is a relatively wet month and Sydney can be windy at times, so appropriate clothing and an umbrella or other rain gear is recommended.
